  • Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED experience equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FG/GS-13 or FV-I) in the Federal government. Specialized experience is defined as that which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled.

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:

    • gathering and analyzing HR data using statistical methods and applications to consult on key metrics/trends;
    • developing forward-looking projections and predictive analytics to support HR and business strategies;
    • providing formal consultation, advisory or analytical support services to senior leaders/managers and stakeholders to identify business questions, gather data, and conduct analyses; and
    • interpreting results to provide information and insights to make workforce decisions in an HR environment.

    In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following has been determined to be a selective factor for this position. This means possession of this criterion is part of the minimum qualifications and is essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.     • SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: Eligible candidates must possess demonstrated experience in an area related to Data Analytics (i.e., Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Data Sciences, and/or Business Administration). This experience must include designing and developing business facing dashboards, providing high-level interpretation, and/or providing business recommendations through data visualizations in BI platforms such as Tableau, or an equivalent/comparable tool.
