Financial/Data Analyst - Office of Assessment and Decision Support (OADS)

The Office of Assessment and Decision Support (OADS) provides leadership and coordination in data collection and analysis, institutional research and assessment in support of University planning, the continuous improvement of educational programs, and the achievement of University mission and goals.

The Financial/Data Analyst is a key member of the decision support team within the Office of Assessment and Decision Support. Leveraging data collection and presentation best practices as well as statistical analyses, this position helps University executives, senior leadership and administrators obtain the financial information they need to support decision-making. Duties of the Analyst include but are not limited to:
  • Provide information used to make executive level decisions regarding the financial and operational framework for Main Campus.
  • With a focus that is service-oriented, work closely with executive leadership and the Office of the Provost - Finance and Business Services to support their analytical, operational and financial data needs.
  • Consult with constituents, analyze information needs, and design, create and maintain solutions to support decision makers.
  • Provide critical analysis on Main Campus Units including financial reconciliations, modeling, forecasting and program analyses.
  • Develop and maintain information systems that support budgeting and business processes


Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Or, Bachelor's degree in one of the above fields and equivalent experience in higher education decision support, analytics, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years in progressively responsible experience as an analyst in a decision support role, preferably within higher education.
  • Must have expertise in financial analyses, statistical modeling, and forecasting.
