    You may start at GS-12 ($83,398.00) if you meet the following minimum qualification requirements.

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: is defined as one year of experience at the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the private sector participating in the planning, developing, and maintenance of an Enterprise Architecture (EA). Examples may include supporting the development and management of EA deliverables and services, managing agendas, scheduling meetings, coordinating with project managers, managing the Technical Standards profile in Excel, and developing artifacts in accordance with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework or Common Approach to Federal Enterprise Architecture.

    In addition to the above, your experience must demonstrate the following competencies:

    1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
    2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
    3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
    4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT (S):

    Time-In-Grade Requirement:  In order to be eligible for this position, all current Federal employees must provide proof of meeting the time-in-grade requirement (i.e., at least 52 weeks of experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service).  This information must be in both your resume and on an SF-50.  Those who do not provide proof of having met the time-in-grade requirement will be deemed ineligible for this position.

    Referral: You will be assigned to one of three quality groups. Each group represents a quality level (i.e., Best Qualified, Qualified, Minimally Qualified).     Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs):

    1. skill in developing components of the enterprise architecture in accordance with Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) or The Open Group Architecture Forum (TOGAF)

    2. skill in managing technical standards and design reviews through the Technology Review Board

    3. skill in written communication


    Interagency Career Transition Assistance Programs: These programs apply to employees who have been involuntarily separated from a Federal service position within the competitive service or Federal service employees whose positions have been deemed surplus or no longer needed.
