We are looking for a Business Analyst who will work with a team of 50+ contractors to determine client needs, gather requirements, develop mission metrics, access readiness, and provide general project support. Responsibilities:
- Conduct planning, requirements elicitation sessions, and process workshops
- Document business and system requirements
- Identify functional issues and inefficiencies
- Develop technical documentation and slides for presentation to agency executives
- Conduct research and formulate recommendations, business cases, board cases, and financial or technical feasibility studies
- Provide technical updates to clients and stakeholders
- Create and capture metrics that support the organizations requirements
- Define the data shared across the enterprise and capture the relationships among roles, capabilities, and business units
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Position requires 8+ years' experience working on complex information technology-related projects
- Position requires a BS in a quantitative field
- Position requires experience conducting Business Process Analysis and modeling, processing modeling, Gap Analysis, and Process Improvement
- Position requires understanding of Enterprise PMO environment
- Position requires expert knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and the ability to evaluate process maturity and coach teams to improve
- Position requires ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Position prefers knowledge of software development life cycle and program metrics tracking and reporting
