Sparks Group has partnered with a global Cloud platform provider headquartered in northern Virginia to find a SAP Technical Architect in their Product Architecture team. They are currently developing new projects / initiatives, and they are in need of a hands-on Technical Architect to join their team. The Architect will develop and support their SAP TDI architecture design and provide guidance to further support installation and configuration. This is an immediate, full-time, direct hire opportunity with our client.
Responsibilities:
- Research, test and evaluate new technologies and solutions for enhancement of current SAP TDI infrastructure and other MCP products.
- Design, deployment and ongoing support of MCP and SAP TDI infrastructure.
- Provides advanced technical and engineering support for internal groups and customers.
- Research new technologies and recommend changes to existing infrastructure and products.
- Writes and revises documentation and procedures, do training of designed solutions.
- Independently lead or execute complex design assignments and deliverables.
- Remain ahead and up-to-date with SAP technologies/products and development.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 10+ years of proven experience of Systems and SAP solution architecture.
- Designing an end-to-end functional SAP landscape using Appliance/TDI model is required.
- Extensive experience in deploying SAP systems (App/DB) and migrating SAP system OS/DB is required.
- Experience in HANA/Sybase/Oracle/DB2/SQL server administration is required.
- SAP System Performance Tuning/Troubleshooting/Debugging is required.
- Experience in Linux/Unix is required.
- Experience in Storage Technologies (EMC, Netapp, Pure, Solidfire or Rubrik) is required.
- Experience in Storage Replication & Disaster Recovery is required.
- Experience with Virtualization, specifically in VMware is preferred.
- Experience with automation/scripting/devops (Python, Powershell, NodeJS, Ansible, Chef) are highly preferred.
- Experience working with web service-based API's (REST, SOAP) are required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Professional certifications in above mentioned technologies are preferred.
