Junior Salesforce Administrator

The George Mason University, School of Business, invites applications for the position of Junior Salesforce Administrator. This position will be responsible for supporting the Salesforce platform across the business school and maintaining the School's Salesforce instance and providing support to end-users.

Responsibilities: The Junior Salesforce Administrator has responsibilities in the following areas: * Salesforce System Administration Support: ** Assist the Salesforce Administration Manager with the building out and scaling our Salesforce instance across the business school; ** Assist with the design and development of the School's customized solutions using the full Salesforce toolset including custom objects and fields, validation rules, workflows, processes builder, and approval processes; ** Develop and create customized reports and dashboards as directed by the Salesforce Administration Manager; ** Work with end users to understand needs and incorporate processes (workflows, tasks and dashboards); and ** Work with end users to develop system enhancements/functionality, and provide day-to-day support for application.

* Technical Support: ** Help create and maintain detailed documentation for technical designs, project plans, deployments and training documents; ** Troubleshoot user issues as they occur and provide technical support as needed; ** Enter and clean up data as directed; and ** Help manage user permissions and operational governance.

* Training and Industry Research: ** Provide support for internal School of Business training as needed to new and existing faculty and staff; and ** Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality.

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent level of education and experience; * Knowledge of computer network structures; * Experience with database design; * Experience with report design consolidation, report optimization and process management; * Experience analyzing and documenting different system flows, process flows and work flows; * Extremely strong analytical and communication skills; and * Able to commute to both our Fairfax and Arlington campuses.

Preferred Qualifications: * Salesforce Administrator Certification; * Demonstrated experience in Salesforce support; * Experience in data migration/bulk data loading into Salesforce; and * Experience with handling Salesforce integrations and Marketing Cloud.
