Overview In this newly crafted role, the Digital Asset Coordinator works in partnership with Kao Salon Education, Marketing, and Sales Departments to integrate and support them within the Kao Salon Learning Center and other digital areas within departments in the Salon Division. In this role, you will also coordinate with Kao Salon Global departments to upload content for various departments. Additionally, this position is responsible for working with various vendors to explore ways to further develop the site and user capabilities. Responsibilities Work with Wisetail software and graphic design firm to further develop the Learning Center to host Education, Marketing and Sales departments. This includes the creation and branding of additional pages within the site specific to each department's needs. Train administrators within each department on Learning Center capabilities as well as how to successfully manage their members, upload existing resources and create new content within the site. Assist with the integration of new members into the Learning Center and ensure they have appropriate access and a working knowledge of how to navigate the site. Maintain database of users to keep it current including departing members Assist in the creation/management of the content and messaging within the Learning Center so that it is cohesive and on brand across all departments. This includes internal creation and external management of graphic design and video editing work. Maintain website day to day activities and serve as the trouble shooter for all members using the Learning Center. Aline with global and local teams to suggest ways that existing content can be integrated into the site and any new content being created can be done in a format that can be applied to the Learning Center. Integrate The Learning Center for selected salons/stylists within 2-5 years of inception. Act as partner and liaison between global and local users of the Learning Center to communicate best practices and watch-outs to any new countries developing their own sites. Collaborate with Wisetail to expand the capabilities and usage of the Learning Center as well as attend Wisetail events and meetings to explore their other client's best practices. Attend education trainings and company and industry events, including participating in detailing and industry organizations to build industry knowledge and contacts. Maintain budget goals for Kao Salon Learning Center. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required 2+ years Marketing experience required Communications or Website Development experience required Strong ability to make oral group presentations; persuade others to accept a specific opinion, action, etc. Motivate, teach and communicate with a variety of different teams with varied technical experience An individual should have a strong working knowledge of the following programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Final Cut Pro. Ability to prepare business correspondence and reports; basic knowledge of chart, graph and table formatting. Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work Possess positive professional attitude and appearance
