To qualify for the GS 13 level, applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks:  contributing to national education and outreach campaigns and applying principles of integrated communications to a consumer protection setting; executing communications plans on important agency issues, targeting relevant audience groups, and selecting appropriate communications channels. Working in teams to design, develop, and carry out campaigns, including researching approaches and messages, developing digital content, and building partnerships. Contributing to the writing and production of video and social media content and print products to raise awareness on consumer protection issues. Participate in teams to analyze qualitative and quantitative methods of assessing results and measuring the impact of education and outreach programs. Working with outside groups in connection with education and outreach campaigns. 


To qualify for the GS 14 level, applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing national education and outreach campaigns and applying principles of integrated communications to a consumer protection setting; developing and executing communications plans that identify important agency issues, target relevant audience groups, anticipate possible adverse reactions, and select appropriate communications channels and messages. Leading teams to design, develop, and carry out campaigns, including researching approaches and messages, developing digital content, and building partnerships. Writing and producing a broad range of video and social media content and print products to raise awareness on consumer protection issues. Analyzing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess results and measure impact of education and outreach programs. Working with outside groups in connection with education and outreach campaigns.
