OPM Basic Qualifications - 2210 Series Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR): Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

To qualify at the GS-14 level: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Conduct risk assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risk, and protections; utilizing security product developments to complete risk assessments, contingency planning, and incident responses; experience with IT systems security principles, concepts, and methods sufficient to develop life cycle management forecasts for hardware and software; creating cybersecurity policies, procedures, and instructions; performing cybersecurity planning, testing, implementation, and evaluation.


You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
