You qualify at the GS-13 level, if you meet the following qualification requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university, leading to a bachelor's or higher degree, with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.

Additional Qualifications at the GS-13 level:

In addition, you must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing quality management programs, policies, and guidance for radiologic and imaging programs/systems; conducting evaluations/audits of existing radiologic and imaging quality management practices to ensure productivity; managing radiologic and imaging quality assurance programs in accordance with Federal and State laws and agency regulatory requirements; and developing and applying radiologic and imaging quality improvement and corrective action plans.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
