Our client, a growing government contractor in the Tyson's Corner area, is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join their team. This individual serves as the primary recruiting point of contact in our HR Team and will significantly influence and impact the delivery of recruiting services to our customers. The ideal candidate will lead recruiting efforts, identify and recommend process improvements, drive sourcing and assessment strategy, and collaborate with team members to accomplish the execution of these critical components of talent acquisition. Candidate must be a highly organized, effective communicator that possesses the ability to manage and prioritize tasks against a timeline and have experience with reporting and metrics. Candidate will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting to provide advice and recommendations, while building and sustaining dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, clients, and partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide exceptional customer service and full life cycle recruiting to hiring managers across business units; * Consistently and openly communicate with managers to determine current and future workforce planning needs; * Provide creative ideas, and innovative recruiting techniques to source qualified IT professionals. (IE, Internet search engines, social media, manage employee referral program); * Lead kick-off meetings to clarify role responsibilities and requirements; * Develop strategies in line with corporate objectives to expand the firms pipeline of both active and passive candidates; * Source resumes, pre-screen job candidates and coordinates interviews with hiring managers through completion of hire; * Develop and manage the on-boarding process and accurate administration of the Taleo applicant tracking system; * Comply with federal government contracting compliance regulations and communicate the same through training sessions with PMs and interview teams; * Develop and maintain relationships with vendors involved with corporate branding; * Lead weekly staffing meetings with Project Managers; * Prepare AAP applicant tracking reports, weekly status reports and quarterly recruiting metrics to management; * Collaborate with Service Delivery Department on government-issued RFPs, Contract renewals, and other responses; * Develop and maintain relationships with third-party staffing partners; * Establish and maintain relationships with college career centers for college recruiting; * Stay abreast of recruiting and retention trends in the industry/market. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's Degree in related field * 5 years' recruiting experience * 3 years' of experience recruiting in a federal government contracting environment both as a prime and as a subcontractor. * Experience in recruiting for technical roles KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: * Exceptional oral/written communication, interpersonal and follow-through skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple priorities * Must be deadline driven with ability to produce quality candidates with a short turnaround * Highly effective social media and internet search engine techniques to source passive candidates * Extremely well organized in practice and communication * Ability to interact effectively with all levels of candidates, employees and management * Ability to work well independently and in a team environment * Proficiency in MS Office, web-based search engines, and electronic recruiting tools * Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast paced, result-oriented environment * Knowledge of Taleo a plus or similar applicant tracking system * Possesses a clear understanding of the interaction with all departments in a services organization.
