Sinclair Broadcast Group's Corporate Accounting department is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst who will perform various A/R and collection-related tasks specifically related to re-transmission revenue. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze, reconcile, and collect on customer accounts Generate statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status Analyze and identify customer write-offs Create invoice adjustments, credits, and refunds as necessary Accurately and timely prepare month end journal entries Perform research and analysis of customer account issues and strives to resolve problems timely and accurately Update account status records and collection efforts Facilitate payments due by sending reminders and contacting customers Research and apply misapplied cash in Oracle Handle vendor creation and maintenance of master data files Handle inbound and outbound calls promptly and professionally, providing assistance and resolution to account inquiries, issues, and requests Ability to reconcile large volumes of data in Excel from multiple sources Document and maintain standard operating procedures for areas of responsibility, and look for opportunities to automate and improve daily account processes Work with auditors on preparation and delivery of audit schedules on quarterly and annual basis Work in close partnership with cross functional team supporting the AR and Revenue operations Assist with special projects and analysis as necessary Qualifications: Four-year degree required, preferably in Accounting At least 3-5 years of experience Strong working knowledge of AR, aging collections, and G/L Strong experience working with high volumes of data and report manipulation Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional environment Strong aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail Possess strong analytical and organizational skills Desire and ability to work in a team environment Oracle experience is a plus Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!
