A leading Hospital Network is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join their team for 3 months to assist with integrating an acquired network, infrastructure, and systems in their data center to centralize IT support. This person will be spending 50% of their time at the White Oak location in Silver Spring and the other 50% of the time they will be traveling to Shah's medical clinics located throughout Southern MD (Charles, Calvert, St. Mary's county)This person will be working directly with the executive team to make sure it's a seamless process for both organizations.This person will be responsible for managing the following projects and working closely with vendors, internal team, and the technical team at recently acquired sites.1.) Installing new telecom circuits (Verizon- MPLS provider / Comcast- provides cable modem connection as backup)2.) Coordinating network deployments (They will be working with their vendor called Iron Bow)3.) Coordinating Cisco IP deployments (They will be working with their vendor called Netcraftsmen)4.) Deploying new PC's and installing MS office packagesOver the past 6 months, they have completed the majority of the work involved with building out the closet cabinets across the sites (installing network cabling, server infrastructure, routers, switches, etc.)Below is the scope of work and details for the project:* 23 locations throughout Calvert, St. Mary's, Charles counties* Family-owned organization* Communications is the most important part of this projecto Weekly or bi-weekly status reports to Executive Leadership* "Time to get them on the network"o High-toucho Daily travel* Replace everything, nothing is worth keepingo Cabling, create switch closets at sites, replace routers, LAN, Wifi, PCs, move phone systems , look at current IT support at sites, etc.* Archive their EMR systems (where they exist) into the Wheaton Data Center in a read-only stateo No mention of doing any data conversion of this EMR information into Cerner* Very visible / Misison Critical Project OversightAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
