Summary The MIL Corporation seeks a number of Entry Level Radar Test Engineers to support a Federal Government client at our Southern Maryland location. The Entry Level Radar Test Engineer will gain knowledge of radar phenomenology, including hardware components, signal processing techniques, antenna design, modeling, and simulation to support both ground based and airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) radars. The selected candidate will work closely within a test and evaluation team for a variety of Federal Government related programs. Responsibilities Participate in gathering and analyzing requirements for test and evaluation of Radar systems and sensors Assist with the development of test procedures, and instrumentation to collect required data within test plan constraints Maintain test logs, prepare test reports, document problem reports, and archive data Perform Radar system hardware/software troubleshooting Develop and utilize data processing tools to perform data analysis and provide data to customers Provide Radar Engineering support for various systems; such as wide-area ground moving target indicator (GMTI), dismount moving target indicator (DMTI) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) Assist in the evaluation of proposed radar solutions, algorithms, and techniques Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited course of study, ABET preferred Effective oral and written communicator Desired Qualifications E xperience with radar signal processing and RF design Experience with supporting radar test and evaluation both in simulated and live environments Experience with radar modeling and simulation Experience with MATLAB or radar simulation software Education BS Clearance All applicants for this position must possess a Secret clearance.
