Reporting to VP HR Operations & Solutions, as the HR Solutions Director you will focus on the design delivery and deployment of an HR Solutions advisor model across the global SET Areas. You will partner with the VP HR Operations & Solutions and HRLT to implement the new model and provide guidance and coaching to HR Solutions Managers and HR Solutions Partners.. Along with this you will have direct responsibility for a specific business area and business partner SET/SET-1 teams to deliver the people plan, through effective diagnosis and the design and delivery of strategic HR support. You will provide primary support to Line Managers in your client group on a range of people activities supported by your team of HR Solution Partners.. As a senior leader in the HR Operations and solutions team you will ensure that your team interface effectively across the function so that work is conducted by the right group in the most efficient location.. The role is based in Gaithersburg, US. Main Duties and Responsibilities:. The accountabilities in this role can be defined in three parts, individual HR Partnering to a designated business area; Team leadership - with responsibility for a large team of HR Solutions Managers & Partners; and being a key member of the HR Operations & Solutions leadership team supporting the formulation of the strategy for the function. HR Partner Responsibilities:. + You will have direct HR partner responsibility for a specific business area, working with global and cross-country teams. + Accountable for delivery of workforce plans for your client group. + Supporting all HR VP Business Partners with deploying resources for cross business projects working closely with COE's and HR Operations; eg preparation of annual HR Business Review, RP/talent reviews etc. + Leading programmes to build capability in a business area through diagnosis, design and execution through your team. + Forming strategic insight from data and information in support of the HR strategy. + Development of people plans for your client area including supporting and ensuring the SET/LT align to HR calendar activities, eg RP/talent reviews,. Leadership responsibilities:. + You will be primary lead for the HR Solutions function including leadership of HR Solutions Managers & their teams and responsible for deployment and capability development across the team; for example; Project Management, Change Management, Analytical skills, business partnering/stakeholder engagement skills etc.. + As primary point of contact for the HR VP Business Partner in the function you will sit on the business aligned HR leadership team. + You will partner with HR VP Business Partner and SET Area team leads to review plans and alignment of HR Solutions Partners. + Providing support to global HRBPs at H/G level and working with SET area team leads to define alignment of HR Solutions Managers for support. + Forecasting business requirements with global HRBPs. + Planning budget and headcount for full HR Solutions team. + Monitoring the effectiveness of HR support provided to the business and HR VP Business Partners. + Responsible for overall deployment plan for CoE deliverables to business area. + Deploying HR Solutions partners to different projects. HR Operations & Solution Leadership:. + A key member of the HR Operations & Solutions leadership team you will help formulate and drive strategy for the function, providing linkage between the Operations function. + You will identify where work can be conducted more appropriately in other areas of the function to best support the HR VP Business Partners. + Working closely with HR VP Operations & Solutions across geography and across the group to drive efficiencies throughout the group. + HR Solutions objective is to remove administrative non strategic tasks from the HR VP Business Partners for example; RP communications & process; onboarding programmes and throughout aiming for global consistency in solutions delivery. Essential Requirements. + Educated to Degree level or equivalent. + Experience of working globally in a business partnering role. + Track record of demonstrable business benefits / improvement delivered. + Demonstrate experience of managing or being part of an HR project/s through a complete project life-cycle. + Technical HR knowledge / skills associated one or more of the following disciplines - Resourcing, Performance & Reward, ER, L&D, organisational change. + Strong stakeholder and influencing skills. + Effective communicator. + Ability to prioritise and manage demands. + Ability to utilise data analytics to inform people plans. + Leadership skills; ability to engage and inspire and bring people with them,. + Demonstrates Soft skills; coaching, resilience, facilitation, consulting.
