As a Network Architect, you will oversee and technically direct system-wide issues that require advanced levels of understanding of network theory and the specific enterprise network architecture; establish overall strategic network standards and priorities; and provide direction and technical guidance in the design and implementation of networking solutions. Network Architects analyze the optimization of network system performance; oversee the strategic interface of network systems configuration; use and incorporating broad technical knowledge of the diverse business areas within the enterprise in the assessment of network engineering technologies, and calculate systems hardware and software protocols. Network Architects provide high-level technical advice and guidance to managers and technical resources on which network technologies can be utilized to meet current and future organizational needs.. Allocates and manages individual and staff activities, highlighting assignments to meet assigned deadlines and allocating funds and resources.. Institutes overall network standards and priorities; evaluates the optimization of network system performance..
