Applicants must have specialized experience at the GS-14 (or equivalent) as described below:
Leading a team of high-level IT specialists; mentoring IT specialists by providing informal feedback and recommendations; serving as an IT Specialist competent in various aspects of troubleshooting complex technical issues; and overseeing and managing operational execution of IT services, program development and systems maintenance.
There is not a mandatory education requirement or educational substitution for the GS-15 level in this occupational series.
