Job Details

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Office Human Resources has an opening for a Senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst. This position will lead the Benefits, Retirement and Compensation Programs for USCCB. Oversee day to day operations of the Fringe Benefit Program which consists of Healthcare Coverage (medical, EAP, dental, vision & prescription), Educational Assistance,403(b) Plan, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Plans.

Supervise the Salary Administration Program which includes:  reviewing the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures and recommending program changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and Conference objectives; approving and calculating salary increases and overseeing the administration of those increases to be processed by Payroll. Evaluate job descriptions for equity adjustments and makes recommendations. Keeps apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance as well as monitoring current compensation trends.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline. Strong Excel skills required. SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred, CCP or CEBS a plus. Minimum of 7 to 10 year of benefits administration and compensation experience. Knowledge of Catholic Church theology, structure and hierarchy
