Principal/ Sr Principal Logistics Project Management Requisition ID : 19004753 Location : United States-Maryland-Annapolis Junction US Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance may be available Clearance Type: Polygraph Shift : 1st Shift Travel : No Description The Eastern Region Logistics Team has a challenging opportunity for a self-starting, talented, team oriented individual with a solid logistics background to work in a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) for multiple IC programs in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The position supports logistics programs maintaining cost, schedule, and performance parameters related to supply chain activities. Specific duties will include: * Oversee general warehouse activities in support of internal inventory management and perform Government property management procedures on classified networks (MDAT/FACTS/DD1149)to include Annual Inventory audits/research/report data, shipping of large scale IT systems, tracking of Agency Owned Accountable Property (AOAP) * Provide broad support to HW/SW acquisition projects for MPO programs. * Facilitate requirements definition and ensure timely processing of Purchase Requisitions, Inventory Requests and Shipping requirements for HW/SW. * Maintain records/database for warranty and license renewals, provide advance notification of upcoming renewals to end-users * Process incoming materials and software fulfillment orders and support accuracy in Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) Reporting * Act as customer service interface with end users, track requirements from requisition through shipping, provide status reports and ad hoc requests * Provide input to the Logistics portions of proposals, proposal work statements and specifications, scope of work for Logistics elements * Establish Logistics milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program specific issues and obtain solutions to resolve bottlenecks in Logistics processes * Strong familiarity with Information Technology equipment from multiple OEMs (ie CISCO, DELL, HP, IBM, NetApp, etc.) to include server, switch & routing equipment and special purpose processors. This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications below: Qualifications Basic Qualifications for a Principal Logistics Project Management: * Bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of experience in logistics. 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Customer facing experience managing Logistics and Supportabilty Engineering (L&SE) elements * Project management experience including following master plans and schedules to define scope, time and cost with the ability to establish logistics milestones to monitor performance. * Top Secret SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph * Experience with MS Office (ie - PowerPoint, Access, Excel) Basic Qualifications for a Sr Principal Logistics Project Management: * Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of experience in logistics, 8 years with a Masters degree. 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Customer facing experience managing Logistics and Supportabilty Engineering (L&SE) elements * Project management experience including following master plans and schedules to define scope, time and cost with the ability to establish logistics milestones to monitor performance. * Top Secret SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph * Experience with MS Office (ie - PowerPoint, Access, Excel) Preferred Qualifications: * Practical working knowledge of Maryland Procurement Office (MPO), Government Property Office (GPO), Government MDAT and FACTS AM asset management systems * Practical working knowledge of SAP (or similar advanced database), with focus on purchasing, receiving and/or inventory * Practical working knowledge of Classified Shipping Requirements Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
