The team will also provide change management expertise. The strategies and policies that are implemented as a result of this work will lead to long term sustainable analytics practices and data driven decision making capacity within HUD. SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Architect to support this effort. Job Duties: . Participate in daily standups and periodic planning and retrospectives. . Lead the development of a data and analytics maturity model. . Participate in the development and implementation of an internal data portal for HUD stakeholders so that they may share data that is relevant to interagency teams. o Identify and prioritize datasets for inclusion into the data portal. o Define data update and integration strategies. o Develop a user-friendly interface for stakeholders to interact with the data portal and gather data for their analysis in multiple formats including CSV and Excel. o Develop a streamlined self-serve process for including smaller HUD data sets into the HUD data lake. . Develop and implement a Master Data Management strategy, working closely with HUD Leadership: o Define a data governance and data sharing strategy, including procedures for metadata and update frequency. o Collaborate with Leadership and the office of the Chief Data Officer to define HUD-wide API standards and API analytics. o Develop systems to maintain data quality and integrity through the lifecycle of the data. o Improve enterprise data inventories. o Develop processes to update data and analytics tool and license inventories on an ongoing basis. . Provide professional support services to provide an objective 3^rd party analysis to assist Center of Excellence and HUD leadership in reviewing products of the Data and Analytics technical implementation. Required: . Overall 9+ years of experience managing or supporting in a significant role, the acquisition, integration, and acceptance lifecycle of one or more complex computational systems or system upgrades in a mission critical environment. . In depth understanding of all phases of data modeling, design, and optimization. . Experience developing metadata structures including dictionaries, taxonomies, and ontologies. . Experience developing semantic data and metadata representations. . Experience in the development, implementation, and management of Enterprise data models, data architecture strategies. . Experience/knowledge of tools and techniques for Agile and DevOps. . Experience in defining Technical Solutions. . In-depth understanding of Data Analytics especially as it applies to automated metadata management and ETL processes. . Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, creating innovative processes and solutions. . Problem solving and analysis skills. . Strong written and verbal communication skills. . Previous experience with HUD is desired, but not required. Education: . BS is required. BS, MS or Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science or other related technical discipline is preferred. Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
