AECOM Principal Solution Architect in Chantilly, Virginia United States of America - Virginia, Chantilly Job Summary AECOM is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to identify, qualify and translate business growth opportunities into AECOM's innovative, next generation technology projects. You will work with capture/business development managers for problem definition and use case discovery, and develop solution architecture in support of large proposals. You will support variety of activities including solution ideation, prototype development as well as development of white paper/RFI responses. You will report to the VP of Technology to align our technology projects with customer needs and growth objectives. The successful candidate will be a senior staff member with a diverse background and extensive client relations, business development and sales experience in technology services industry. Demonstrated knowledge and a track record of successfully developing and delivering large scale, complex projects to the Federal Government is desired. You will be familiar with application of latest transformation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, IoT, Predictive Maintenance, OT/IT integration, cloud platforms, large scale data management and analysis platforms, and robotic process automation to solve complex business problems. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration discipline (or equivalent education) * 15+ years of job related experience, with at least 7 years working in services industry for US Federal clientele. * Experience with highly technical pursuits, analyzing processes, identifying process and technology optimizations, developing storyboards, pricing models and BOEs. * Proven track record leading the development of winning technical solutions for large (>$100m) Government pursuits * Deep knowledge of capture and proposal lifecycle as applicable to the delivery of technical services * Proven ability to manage multiple customer engagements and proposal efforts in a fast-paced environment * Experience in architecting highly scalable and secure Cloud-centric solutions on AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms * Knowledge of US Federal security and compliance requirements * Experience in developing solution architecture with one or more transformation technologies including IoT, AI/ML, big data, data analysis, Cloud platforms, and Robotic Process Automation * Experience evaluating and selecting vendor products and technologies for integrated solutions * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong customer relationship building skills * US citizenship required for unescorted access to assigned work area(s). * Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check w/Inquiries.
