SAIC's National Security Customer Group (NSCG) is currently hiring for a customer within the Intelligence Community (IC) in Chantilly, VA. This customer is responsible for designing, building, and operating national security-related systems based in space, in the air, and on the ground. NSCG has an opening for a leader, manager, and engineer to provide technical advisory (SETA) services to an IC customer. The customer organization we support provides the enterprise architecting and systems engineering solutions that determine the current and future national space systems. As the Office Lead - Program Manager you may be called upon by Senior Management to assist with other corporate projects and initiatives, as required. This includes participating in business development, capture, and proposal activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing an office and leading a team of 30 - 40 engineers and professionals in support of customer goals and projects Working across multiple Directorates and Offices to identify and define future space capability needs Identifying key architecture and enterprise level trades Assessing the performance of current and future architecture concepts Providing technical and programmatic guidance to the architecture and enterprise level requirements process Supporting enterprise and system requirements reviews Preparing briefings for senior decision makers Qualifications Bachelor degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline and 20+ years of related work experience Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly Strong oral and written communications abilities Demonstrated capability to support interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors Demonstrated leadership and / or management experience, with the ability to lead project teams (30-40 personnel) Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment Understanding of how to use architecting to support senior level enterprise decision making Working knowledge/familiarity with architecture tools Desired Qualifications Advanced degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline Prior US military and/or government civilian experienceKnowledge of IC Capability processesExposure to the use of architecting across the IC Experience with solving IC agency enterprise issues and challenges Knowledge and experience with IC Acquisition and Investment processes Overview SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation's most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
