NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Pricing Director to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US). Position Description, Functions, and Responsibilities: * Reports directly to the Federal Secure CFO. * Lead a team of professionals and oversee all activities related to cost and price strategy, cost estimating and analytics, and all pricing and estimating activities for the business unit. * Provides strategic thinking, competitive analysis, and insights to help achieve Price-To-Win (PTW) target values. * Provide insights and guidance to the team and senior management from a compliance, competitive analysis, Price-to-Win (PTW) and risk management perspective. * Develops pricing data calls and negotiates with all Teaming Partners (Subcontractors and Primes). * Evaluate and maintain market price integrity while understanding the competitive environment. * Prepare timely, accurate and compliant pricing models for both internal and external clients. * Prepare timely, accurate and compliant cost and business proposals. * Participate in the proposal pricing process to include: develop cost volume completion schedules; assist in development of pricing strategies; coordinate internal and external cost requirements; review, analyze and compile cost data; prepare cost volumes. * Work closely with Capture/Business Development, Contracts, Purchasing, Human Resources and Operations to ensure accuracy and coordination of cost proposals and to collect data. * Participate in pricing review with upper management and coordinate with senior staff to determine pricing structure and strategy. * Facilitate pricing reviews and provide pricing guidance to proposal and capture teams to ensure that pricing strategy is completed in accordance with disclosure statements. * Design, develop, and prepare cost models and cost narratives or proposals and provide guidance and council on all aspects of proposal preparation, including estimating, price point and market wage analyses, RFP analysis, FAR, CAS, disclosure and compliance. * Analyze RFP, identify questions for submittal, and advise Proposal Team of unique requirements. * Lead the development and preparation of cost/price proposals in response to RFP requirements and ensure compliance with all Government regulations and Firm policies. * Develop complex cost/price models, using MS Excel based tool, which address solicitation requirements. * Work closely with operations, contracts, finance, human resources, proposals and other departments to ensure price proposals are professional, compliant, accurate, competitive and profitable. * Offer guidance and recommendations to Program Managers, Directors and Partners to maximize engagement profitability and improve forecast accuracy across the organization. Basic Qualifications: * 12-15 years experience relavent to the position description. * Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or related field. Desired Skills: * Must possess an understanding of all contract types (Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), etc.). * Familiarity with federal government contracting regulations, including FAR, DFAR, & CAS. * Solid analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work independently with little oversight. * Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills. * Highly proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel (pricing/costing tools are Excel based). * Ability to organize, prioritize, and research multiple projects under tight deadlines required.
