Serve in a leadership role to support the US Health business development organization. Oversee the business development team for the domestic health markets. Provide leadership in market development and support initiatives to identify and grow new and expanded markets. Work in collaboration with the business development team, market leaders, and the health services capture team to achieve the growth goals of the organization. Job Details: * Serve as the senior executive responsible for all business development and new market growth in US Health * Manage national business development team responsible for identifying new market opportunities and growing current markets * Establish relationships with state agency leaders and current clients and work with operational leadership team to expand and grow current portfolio * Work with US Health Leadership team to identify and penetrate new markets * Establish partnerships with appropriate agencies and organizations * Support business and market development across the entire US Health organization Additional Requirements: * At least 10 years' experience in leading a business development team * Knowledge of state government procurement practices * Extensive knowledge of state government health programs, commercial health insurance, Medicaid, and other related markets * Extensive experience leading business development activities in state government and health sector* Knowledge of solutions that state governments purchase The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred Outsourcing experience preferred Experience in simultaneously managing a large portfolio of multiple complex projects Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to develop and implement high level departmental strategies, assesses intangible variables to identify and evaluate fundamental issues Ability to influence executive management decisions Knowledge of organizational and or client objectives Ability to negotiate with internal and external customers to gain desired outcome Ability to successfully manage many complex tasks simultaneously Strong understanding of state, county and local government programs currently served by MAXIMUS.
