In certain cases the Director may own certain IT Services also. This role owns the CapEx and OpEx budget associated with their Service Offerings / Services and ensures optimum utlization of investment against the company priorities. IT Service Offering Owner is the single point of contact ( SPOC) in front of the customer for all aspects of a service offering and is accountable for ensuring that a service offering is managed with a business focus. He/she are responsible to the customer for the initiation, elaboration, construction,transition and ongoing maintenance and support of a particular service offering. He/She is accountable to IT Service Owner for the Service Offerings and IT executive leadership for the performance of that dedicated Service Offering / Service (including financial performance). Responsible for producing and maintaining documentation and materials regarding the Service Offering/Service. location: Washington, Washington, DC job type: Permanent salary: $140,000 - 170,000 per year work hours: 9am to 6pm education: Masters responsibilities: * Responsible for creating an integrated information technology plan to support one of more IT Services / Service Offerings. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following: (See Amendment) * Develops and owns service offering defination and service offering design partnering with business owners and architecture. Ensures adoption of services/service offering within the IT service catalog. * Manages client engagements and service agreements on service offerings. * Responsible for planning service offering/service budget across both CapEx and OpEx vectors. Track budget and takes appropriate steps to stay within budget. * Oversees service offerings and corresponding service delivery teams. Responsible for delivering service offerings to business/clients. * Manages programs and end to end delivery. Design, build, test solutions for service offerings. * Manages service offering deployment and operations in conjunction with the Tech Ops team. * Responsible for managing risk and security within the service offerings in partnership with the CISO and the Risk and Compliance teams * Responsible for delivering a particular service offering within the agreed service offering levels with the customer and with dependent IT teams negotiating Operational Level Agreements (OLAs). * Partners to ensure IT Service Management processes, operational level agreements, and underpinning contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets.Provides advice and counsel to the vendor relationship decisionmaking and contract development processes. * Provides leadership in continious service/service offering improvement.Ensures service provider performance is reviewed and that contract managers are notified when necessary. * Meets regularly with team to gather work statuses. Discuss work progress and obstacles. Provides advice, guidanace, encouragement and constructive feedback. Ensures work, information ideas, and technology flow freely among the section. * Establishes measureable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goals. Documents and presents performance assessments. Recognizes and rewards associates commensurate with performance. Develops timelines and action steps for anticipating and framing the type of change. * Act as the overall delivery lead and application manager for the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management system and EAM program * Interface and coordinate with other delivery leads and system engineers for partner systems such as Siemens PLM, SAP ERP, Ariba, Kronos as well as other supporting systems in the company's ecosystem * Deliver quality projects and provide support of the Maximo application for both future and existing systems, utilizing project and product management knowledge while adhering to industry best practices * Work with the technical team to drive innovative solutions that meet the client's functional requirements within the available capabilities of the software while adhering to budget and timeline constraints * Support the mandated tenant of zero customizations, cloud first, mobile first while maintaining company standards and vision for both IT and Operations * Provide project and product management expertise around all areas of system implementation, software development and supporting mechanisms with a focus on Mechanical, Engineering, Real Estate and facilities management systems. * Understands and support the design and configuration of system security and access, including cloud and mobile solutions * Help define the EAM vision based on system functionality and business needs, continuing to look for opportunities on ways to expand the portfolio and leverage the product capabilities per best practices qualifications: * 10+ years of hands on, technical and functional experience with Maximo including implementing and managing design, development, high quality modifications, interfaces, conversions, and business process changes for Maximo systems * IBM Certified Professional - Maximo Asset Management V7.5 or later version * 5+ years of experience implementing an Asset Management product (preferably Maximo) in a transportation or Operational-heavy industry or to a company with a mostly unionized workforce. * Master's degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent. * Experience working in large complex companies, that heavily rely on real time 24x7 IT operations to succesfully service external customers. * Proven experience implementing or configuring Maximo in the transportation industry or an Operations-heavy company. * Proven experience integrating Maximo with SAP ERP, Siemens TeamCenter PLM, Quintiq, AutoCAD, Solidworks or other complementary third-party applications skills: The successful candidate will have proven experience with: - PMP, PgMP or PfMP principals, practices and procedures - Maximo integration technologies (Object structures, services, channels, etc.) as well as integration experience with other applications. - Web protocols including HTTP, SMTP and LDAP. - Knowledge of administration of database and web server components. - Modern programming language experience SQL, Java and/or C++. - Experience with methodologies and technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript, Oracle, RDBMS, configuring IIS, WebSphere, and Maximo Asset management suite, Spatial, Building Information Models (BIM), SAP -
