    Specialized Experience Statement
    Qualifying experience for the CP-13/GS-15 includes (6) years of specialized experience following law school graduation relevant to the duties of this position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience: (a) performing professional work as a licensed attorney in a General Counsel's office of a federal or other government agency or a private sector organization with an annual operating budget of at least 25 million dollars, or in a law firm; (b) representing clients as a licensed attorney before federal or state administrative agencies and/or before United States District Courts; (c) Providing advice or counsel to clients as to employment or labor law-related issues; and (d) drafting briefs for matters before the United States District Courts, position statements setting forth a client's position to federal administrative agencies, and internal memorandum to clients providing guidance as to a specific legal issues.

    Applicants must possess a professional law degree (J.D., LL.B., or LL.M.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association, and be an active Bar association member in good standing in a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
