The Objective of Freddie Mac's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) division is to build strong, effective and efficient risk management to help manage risk and capital as well as the largest, best-run financial institutions. ERM is responsible for independent oversight and assessment of the company's financial and non-financial risks. We establish and communicate the enterprise risk framework including corporate risk policies and standards while promoting a strong risk culture.

Freddie Mac's ERM division is currently seeking Business Management interns who are obtaining their graduate degree. The work you'll be doing in the ERM division is high-profile and highly rewarding. You'll collaborate with some of the brightest financial minds in the industry, developing your knowledge of risk management.

This program also serves as a pipeline for the Enterprise Graduate Risk Rotation Program, which is a 24-month program.

As an ERM intern, experiences and responsibilities might include, but not limited to:
* Assist in the assessments of business unit exposures, identifying risks and evaluating their potential impact
* Work with the team in the development and implementation of risk metric and reporting processes
* Support the corresponding design and implementation of risks-related key risk indicators (KRIs), key compliance indicators (KCIs), and key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Work on special projects

Qualifications

* Working towards an MBA, or advanced degree in business administration, finance, marketing/communications economics, or a related discipline
* Minimum cumulative 3.4 GPA or equivalent
* Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
* High emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
* Organizational and time management skills
