NJVC Company Job Title: Program Manager Clearance: Background Check Location: Washington, DC Reports To: Director of Business Development FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time, Regular Summary: The Program Manager will help to assist NJVC's customer, the Office of the CIO (OCIO) of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) under the Department of the Treasury in achieving their mission. OCIO provides leadership, guidance, and direction in applying IT resources by adopting the OCIO IT goals as the standard. Duties and Responsibilities: Modernize and secure TTB's technology and information resourcesImprove customer value by increasing the quality and lowering the cost of TTB's IT Products and ServicesDesign user-friendly tools and programs to improve customer service, lower barriers to voluntary compliance, and deliver trusted servicesresponsible for managing all work across the five program areas for this customer and be a single point of contact (POC) for communication with our Government customer. make decisions for and commit on behalf of our organization in response to Government issues, concerns or problemsProvide program management services including developing, implementing, maintaining and tracking the deliverables necessary to manage projects. serve as the single Contractor representative responsible for responding to and resolving all issues, concerns, and problems; as well as being proactive in alerting the Government to potential issues.plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.Schedule and Facilitate MeetingsMilestone reviewsprovides OCIO with the resources providing Information Technology - Program Management (IT-PM) Support Services. These support services are organized into five program areas: Infrastructure and Customer ServiceSoftware Development and Maintenance/Software Quality Assurance,Data Management and Architecture/IT Strategic Planning,Acquisitions and Budgeting, and Information Security.Brief the OCIO staff, TTB Management, Department of Treasury, and/or other Government Agencies or Industry on the Project StatusTrack performance measuresAssist ACIOs in the development, maintenance, and reporting for the annual IT operating planAssist in preparing responses to various data calls from Treasury, OMB, GAO, and other government oversight organizations.Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC)/IT Portfolio Management and ReportingEnsure that Technical Writing Support adheres to the standardsProvide resources from "bench support" to supplement staff with specialized technical skills to support TTB's IT Program Management as needed.Supervisory Responsibilitiesprovide supervisory management and leadership to ensure quality deliverables, appropriate resourcing, and successful execution of work that will achieve key our customer's performance measuresOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) Master's Degree OR Bachelor's Degree with an additional 2 years of experience10 years professional experience related to IT project/program management and/or IT engineering or design:5 years of experience related to IT contract program managementPMP or equivalent certificationAdditional technical certification such as ITIL Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
