GLC Government Services is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work a long term government contract at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. NIH is a prestigious research facility making important discoveries that improve health and save lives. As a pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for preparing medications for the patients at NIH. These include hazardous and non-hazardous medications. Requirements: * Must be a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB * Have an active and clear Pharmacy Technician License * Must be BLS/CPR certified * Must have at least one year of recent IV Pharmacy Technician experience * Prior experience with ScriptPro is preferred Scope of Work: * Tech will work in the inpatient Pharmacy and function as an IV pharmacy technician * Tech will be responsible for preparing non hazardous and hazardous medications fro patients Location: Bethesda, MD Setting: Inpatient Pharmacy Schedule: Rotating shifts on days and evenings available Contract: One base year with three option periods (4 years) * Must be a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB* Have an active and clear Pharmacy Technician License* Must be BLS/CPR certified* Must have at least one year of recent IV Pharmacy Technician experience* Prior experience with ScriptPro is preferred
