Responsibilities of the Server Administrator: Administer Active Directory services, member servers and storage Incorporate new technologies into current and updating systems, including the transition and migration of enterprise systems Find solutions to complex hardware and software problems Take lead and responsibility of government approved projects Conduct systems administration of desktop and server systems Manage systems through account monitoring, Operating System installation, security and other related functions Monitor the transition and migration of networks addressing schemes and administration of Microsoft domains Preform design and implementation tasks regarding personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities and/or equipment Execute engineering research and design development Requirements of the Server Administrator: Bachelor's degree 8+ years of relevant systems administration/systems engineering experience (relevant experience may be substituted) Active TS/SCI Clearance is required for this position Expert in design, maintenance, evaluation and troubleshooting Windows Server 2012 R2 using the most modern technologies as well as he ability to upgrade skills Ability to confidently plan, deliver, operate and manage server infrastructure solutions in a DoD enterprise environment Knowledge of Microsoft terminal services and system recovery tools Expert knowledge of operational support activities Possesses Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or related MCSA/MCITP certification Possess DoD 8570 certification at IAT II, CompTIA Security+ce or higher Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance Keywords: Administrator, Microsoft Job ID: 318214 About Eliassen Group: Eliassen Group provides strategic talent solutions to drive our clients' innovation and business results.
