Hiring skilled construction laborers and/or operators for a construction company building multiple data centers in Sterling, VA. This contractor has an urgent need for skilled laborers and applications will be reviewed within 2 hours of applying.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of commercial construction operating experience in at least one of the following:Trenching, excavating or deep digging experiencePipe fitting and laying pipe and/or conduit for wet or dry utilitiesCommercial Fiber optic or telecommunication experienceConcrete laying and/or concrete pipe installationStorm drain installation or deep septic tank installationHeavy equipment experience in loaders, backhoe, excavator and mini excavator Responsibilities:Dig and trench 8 to 12 feet deep to install pipesWork on a crew of 5 to 7 peopleOperate different equipment such as skid steers/bobcats backhoes and excavatorsWork closely with a crew in the trenches to install concrete conduit and pipesPrepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting spaceBack-fill trenchesUnload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipmentOverview:Pay ranges from $23-$29 an hour based on construction experience relevant to pipe fitting, pipe laying, operating heavy equipment and utility work Ability to work overtime and receive uncapped overtime pay (x1.5)10 hours of overtime on average per weekHigh project frequency and long term work stabilityMust have a great work ethicBe willing to work outdoorsHQ located in Sterling, VAAbility to learn and operator heavy equipment if willing to be taughtPotential to grow into a heavy equipment operator M-F 6:30am-2:30pm (Base hours)About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
