Let's make an impact together.Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities The Integration and Closure team SIGINT Enterprise Systems Engineer (ESE) team is responsible for overseeing the acquisition-level closure of requirements; overseeing system level readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level milestones; leading and supporting project planning; assessing schedule and risk; generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing with numerous customers. This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure.This position will serve as the Lead for an SIGINT ESE SETA team. The contract is seeking a talented; customer focused senior SIGINT engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, organization, have an ability to prioritize their time, and understand the value of providing strong customer service.Duties and Responsibilities:Using a holistic approach, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements. Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development. Designs interfaces and brings system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.Support teams coordinating, supporting and assessing requirements, CONOPs and architecture products, assessing system schedule and risks, supporting test and verification strategy and system integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities. Will have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development across the various offices. Support various system readiness events and independent review teams and is required to have a strong systems engineering background. Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and facilitate risk and action closure with Acquisition Offices and users, and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings. Required Skills: Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.10-14 years' experience with space/ground systems and systems engineeringBS in engineering, physics or related technical degreeIntegration and Closure experience with in overall customer domain, Tech Insertion experience. The selected candidate will have the aptitude to assess processes and create efficiencies continuously, and may lead SIGINT related projects. Due to the broad nature of the ESE team workload, the selected candidate should have knowledge in SIGINT systems and experience with national systems. Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment Fully embrace mentoring and development of junior personnel, and a commitment to continuous learning.Detailed knowledge of SIGINT systems and overall space and ground architecture Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of space and ground architecture Experience identifying user & enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis and assessment Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration to accommodate the End to End SIGINT Systems Engineering. Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authorityMust have an active TS/SCI, the ability to pass a poly, and be able to successfully crossover with the supported client.Strongly Desired Skills: Familiarity with overall customer, technical familiarity with one or more SIGINT or COMM systems and subsystems, including sensor knowledge. Ability to work for specific IC customer and familiarity with that customer's processes and organization. Certified in one or more of the following: SAFe, ITIL, PMI/PMP, INCOSE.
