Major responsibilities - Oversee the activities of the Accounting, Finance and Tax departments, - Each month, present executive committee and investment partners with financial reports and analysis - Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective company-wide operation - Advance department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation - Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals - Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities- CPA required - 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - Skilled in the financial services and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Expertise in equity accounting - Comprehensive knowledge of external reporting - Prior work done in big 4 or large public accounting is desired - Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity - MBA preferred - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience requiredRobert Half Finance & Accounting, the world's leader in specialized financial staffing, provides exciting full-time opportunities in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more.
