Northern Virginia Job Summary Our client is looking for an Entry-Mid-level DevOps (AWS) Engineer to join their ever-growing Engineering Team. Responsibilities and Duties ? Play a key role in the deployment of Openshift on AWS ? Perform patch management (network security patches, server and workstation patching) ? Support application builds and delivery in accordance with requirements. ? Responsible for installing, configuring and using various open source and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Selenium, Docker, RedHat OpenShift, Terraform ? Design and implement DevOps solutions that leverage AWS and internal products/service capabilities to meet customer?s most critical requirements ? Take ownership of user problems and follow up on the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner ? Automate and maintain systems using virtualization and containerization ? Amazon Web Services administration ? AWS, OpenShift, Red Hat Linux, Infrastructure Virtualization, Docker - Perform System Administration, Network Configuration ? Participate in COOP and Disaster Recovery, SAN implementations and virtualization (VMware) ? Red Hat, Openstack, AWS, Cloud, Virtualization, mongo, deploying openShift, RHEL, ansible Qualifications and Skills ? Bachelor Degree and ability to obtain a clearance ? 3+ years of AWS experience (EC2, S3, etc.) ? 3+ years of Red Hat experience ? CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), OpenShift, etc. ? ? Experience with Relational databases PostGreSQL or MongoDB VMware- Comprehensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) ? 3+ years of AWS experience (EC2, S3, etc.) ? 3+ years of Red Hat experience - Deploying Red Hat on AWS - Ansible experience highly desired - RHEL, Red Hat OpenShift - Foundational knowledge in Linux - Experience with monitoring systems is required - Experience with automation software is required for success at this position - This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has experience with virtualization and containerization - Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems is required for success at this positionTechnology doesn't change the world.
