Cybersecurity Controls Assessor, Junior

Key Role:

Evaluate and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure that information technology (IT) systems meet the organization's information assurance (IA) and security requirements. Asses security and privacy controls to conduct system security controls assessment. Support in development of security assessment documentation and Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) remediation. Conduct security controls and vulnerability assessments for the applications and Generic Security Service (GSS). Support in development of security assessment reports and POA&Ms reports to document the results of the assessments.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

-Experience with NIST 800-53 security requirements and utilizing NIST 800-53A

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Security+ certification
