We're a growing Farmers Insurance Agency located in Ellicott City, Maryland, looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as an Agency Producer and help us expand our business through the sale of home, auto, life, and business insurance products/services offered by Farmers Insurance Group of companies. The Protege program is specifically designed to help transition any candidates who are interested in opening up his/her own Farmers Agency in the future. This would be a great opportunity to work inside our agency, learn the day to day operations of the business, while formulating your own business plan. Responsibilities Generate new business for the agency (home, auto, life, business policies) Prospect and generate new business through various lead sources Quote, follow up, and close sales Ability to meet production goals Other duties as required or assigned Requirements Motivated self-starter with a sense of urgency Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be organized and have strong attention to details Ability to work independently as well as function in a team environment Strong problem solving skills Past sales experience a plus. Must be able to obtain or currently possess Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licenses
