Duties incl: Participate in NAEP research study design, analysis, QC, & report writing; Contribute to the prod of stat reports; Contr to ID of new topics for stat reports; Perf quick-turnaround special analyses; Prepares, reviews data tables & figures; Dev presentations for prof audiences; Review data files & documentation; Review stat reports & tech docs. Attend conferences. May undergo background checks. Requires communication skills. Requires PhD in Educ Measurement, Educ Policy or rel Soc Sci field and 1 yr rel exp in analyzing and publishing results from large-scale survey and assessment data with complex sampling. Also requires skills (1 yr exp) in: using stat software (SAS, Stata, HLM, or Mplus). Alternatively, applicants can have a Master’s degree in Educ Measurement, Educ Policy or rel Soc Sci field and 4 yrs rel exp in analyzing and publishing results from large-scale survey and assessment data with complex sampling.
