Our Arlington office has an immediate opening for a IT Systems Administrator, reporting to theA' east coastA' IT Manager.A' This is a exempt non-supervisory full-time position working primarily in our Arlington, VA facility along with occasional onsite work in our Chantilly, VA facility.A' A' The candidate will collaborate with other system administrators, travel occasionally, and provide some afterhours support.A' The candidate will also support a variety of IT systems at varying levels of complexity on the classified and corporate networks.Primary responsibilities include:Integrating, upgrading, and managing domain services and infrastructure systems in a Microsoft Windows Server environment.Recommending improvements to the companyA cents € (TM) s IT services.Contributing to computer and network security using a variety of security-based software products and hardware appliances.Managing data backup and restoration systems for the local facility.Administering PBX and/or VoIP phone systems.Some administration and maintenance of client computers and solutions in various LAN environments.Maintaining software licensing records and providing support to IT budget planning sessions.Mentoring other IT staff and leading technical projects.Other duties, as assigned.A' Required Qualifications:TOP SECRET Clearance (SCI Access is a plus).Security+ CE or equivalent certification for DoD 8570 IAT Level II.BS in an IT related discipline and/or current, applicable industry-standard certifications.Minimum of 5 years working as a Windows System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.Proficiency with domain services utilizing Windows Server (2008 R2/2012 R2) including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, and DHCP.Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously and on a team.Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce technical documentation.Must be able to lift 25 pounds.A' Preferred Qualifications & Experience:Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining one or more of the following: MS Exchange 2010 or newer, Server Virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), EMC SANs, MS SharePoint 2013, Veeam Backup & Replication, MS SCCM, MS Lync/Skype for Business Server, AWS.Proficient understanding of networking and remote access VPN configuration & management.Familiarity with classified information system Cyber Security tools and technologies (Nessus/ACAS, WSUS, SCAP, DISA STIG compliance).Experience collaborating with Cyber Security professionals and contributing to Cyber Security Plans.System administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 or later.Mentoring abilities and leadership skills within an IT organization.
