Responsible for the Performance Improvement Program and facilitate organizational continuous quality improvement. Act as the organization's subject matter expert in performance improvement methods providing training consultation and complex project facilitation. Responsible for the coordination and oversight of the hospital's participation in external performance measurement projects. Responsible for the direction supervision and operations of Quality Department to include Clinical Documentation Management Program, concurrent quality record reviews, clinical data abstraction, and quality data analytics. Facilitates facility quality council committees A' to ensure continuous improvement in quality, patient satisfaction measures and HCAHPs results. Responsible for meeting regulatory standards including DNV, state licensure and CMS regulations. Coordinate continuous survey readiness activities to include completion of the Periodic Performance Review, tracer patients, etc. Is responsible for hospital's patient safety program promoting healthcare business processes and an organizational culture that mitigate patient harm. Facilitates the monitoring and improvement of the hospitals clinical quality improvement efforts to include CMS Quality Demonstration, Quality Healthcare Incentive Program (Q-HIP) and other clinical quality improvement programs. Riverside Tappahannock Hospital is a 67-bed facility caring for citizens in the Tappahannock, Essex, King and Queen, King William counties and the Northern Neck counties of Richmond, Westmoreland, Northumberland, and Lancaster. Riverside Tappahannock Hospital was recently awarded 2nd place in the Best Hospital category in Best of Virginia 2017 by Virginia Living Magazine. Tappahannock is a wonderful and small town located on the banks of the Rappahannock River. Qualifications Education:A' BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree required. MasterA cents € (TM) s degree preferred. Experience:A' At least five (5) years of progressive clinical experience in acute care quality position required.Certifications: CPHQ certification preferred.
