Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is seeking a Contract Manager for an industry-leading accounting and finance company in the Washington DC Metro Area. You as a Contract Manager will advise business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance subjects.   • Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
  • Identifies potential problems and strategizes to find the best solutions
  • Manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review
  • Prepares and sends out information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Responsible for communicating contractual, business or CM positioning issues to a senior director
  • Responsible for implementation of CM processes
  • Manages daily workload of assigned CM personnel and project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the project team and/or business unit and Legal
  • Acts as liaison between the company and clients/vendors
  • Informs the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitors compliance
  • Develops and integrates CM tools, templates, methods, and processes
  • Understanding of the company's major business areas to advise upper management.
  • Provides training to Contract Management personnel

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 4-year degree
  • Contract Management, FAR, DFAR experience
  • 7 years of Contract Management experience in a Federal Government contracting environment
  • Cradle to Grave Contract Management, interpretation of FAR
  • Must be able to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Ability to interact with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture
  • Able to manage medium to large sized work efforts at a client or within the company
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Use of DFAR, DOD or VA preferred
  • Secret Clearance or above preferred
