The Compliance function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by developing and maintaining program infrastructure that identifies, measures, and monitors compliance with applicable laws, regulations and rules that govern our business globally. Compliance teams work closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters, assess and measure compliance and related risk, and monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's compliance control environment. Consumer & Community Banking Compliance is responsible for leading and implementing the compliance program across the consumer businesses, including Home Lending, Consumer and Business Banking, Consumer Wealth Management, Card Services, and Auto Finance. The department works with the consumer businesses to ensure practices and policies are appropriately designed and to achieve compliance with both the spirit and intent of applicable laws and regulations, as well as ensuring execution of an effective compliance program. To accomplish this, the Office of Fair Lending (OFL) has a very robust Fair Lending function that oversees firm's compliance with fair lending laws. Position Description Office of Fair Lending is seeking a qualified Project Manager to manage critical time sensitive projects and staff assignments and workload. Key responsibilities are: * Manage and coordinate projects that involve multiple offices including OFL Monitoring, OFL Analytics, and OFL Strategic Governance as well as partners in Compliance, Audit, Legal, Lines of Business and Model Governance * Ensure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track; keeping managers informed of project status and issue * Manage staff assignments and workload to ensure efficient allocation of resources and high priority work are attended to promptly; keep track of staff productivity and performance * Communicate clearly and keep leadership and staff informed on status of projects Qualifications * + Bachelor degree + A minimum of 5 years working as a project manager or equivalent, preferably at a financial institution + Experience drafting project management plans, status reports and summaries + Experience seeking inputs from busy professionals, organizing, coordinating and keeping projects on track + Skill at prioritizing multiple tasks and working independently and with others + Ability to identify and address key issues, risks and obstacles; pay attention detail + Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships across multiple teams + Strong communication skills, verbal and written + Knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint + Preferably have experience working with quantitative analysts and managing the audit process and documentation requirements; some understanding of fair lending analytics or compliance is a plus though not required + Perform other related duties as assigned JPMorgan Chase is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer Disability/Veteran.
