Job Description Baldwin Homes, celebrating 20 years in business in 2019, is looking for a Superintendent who will be responsible for the overall leadership of our on-site construction operations. At Baldwin Homes you will be part of a team that understands purchasing a new home is one of the biggest decisions our clients make. The ideal candidate is a professional that can work in an exciting and fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Coordinate the scheduling and work of trade contractors and suppliers for each job-site to meet construction timelines Maintain accurate records for each job-site with detailed construction task lists, safety checklists Maintain a clean and safe work-site Provide punch-out and home closing preparations Provide customer care and service after closing Remain "on-call" when owner is unavailable Provide feedback from clients, suppliers and trade contractors back to Project Manager Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance Maintain a consistent and accurate work attendance and schedule Support and enforce the construction agreements and scope of work for each home with the trade contractors and review work in place to ensure compliance with quality standards Search for new trades as needed Maintain a positive, respectful and professional rapport with the trade contractors, suppliers, officials and homeowners. KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS Single family and town-home site experience preferably in MD counties that include-Anne Arundel, the Eastern Shore in Queen Anne's and Talbot. Over ten years construction-related experience supervising multiple projects including managing complex scheduling demands. Strong computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft programs(including Outlook) Must be able to work with tools as well as supervise diverse personnel Polished and professional demeanor PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent walking Lifting to 70 lbs.
