What You Will Do As an Associate with St. Agnes Healthcare-MD, you will have the opportunity to Performs a variety of duties in surgical services to maintain a well-supplied, sterile environment. Responsibilities: Performs terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment and air vents. Transports case carts, equipment and supplies and disposes of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures. Monitors and maintains supply inventories at an appropriate par level. Provides physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting and, moving as directed by clinical nursing staff. Other duties as assigned. What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: Preferred Credential(s): Certified BLS Provider specializing in Health Service Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). Or military CPR-First Aid training. Education: HS or Equivalent Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred: Completion of study as Surgical Technologist, Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school Work Experience: Required: No experience.
