  • Utilize excellent customer service skills to greet and direct patients for appointments and referrals.
  • Field inbound calls and patient questions regarding issues including scheduling appointments, insurance verification, and collection of co-pays.
  • Schedule patient appointments through internal systems and provide verbal and written instructions. Document all call results into systems.
  • Liaise with the business office to process unpaid patient balances.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal staff to best support a productive office atmosphere.

Qualifications/Background profile:
  • Friendly, optimistic attitude
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to learn medical terminology
  • Ability to perform basic math functions, compute rate, ratio, percents, and to interpret bar graphs
  • Strong organizational skills as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
