We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to serve as a code writer within a multi-disciplinary Agile development team. You will serve as an integral member of the organization's analytic team supporting a critical national security mission on cutting edge of cyber technologies. Responsibilities:
- Leverage full stack development experience to decompose problems into solvable pieces and translate those solutions into code
- Prepare design specifications, conceptual diagrams, process flows, data models, prototypes, user interface designs, use cases, screen layouts, test plans, deployment plans, and system documentation
- Provide iterative support to the full software life cycle
- Suggest and implement configuration management tools to keep code integrity and utilize code reuse and reconstitution
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Position requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Position requires US Citizenship
- Position requires BS in computer science or related field
- Position requires CompTIA Security+ certification or CISSP certification
- Position requires 5-12 year of software engineering experience
- Position requires experience with HTML, JavaScript, UNIX, Linux, Windows, and Cisco IOS
- Position requires proficiency in processing and managing large data sets as well as NoSQL databases such as Titan, Mongo, Cassandra, and hBase
