Operations Research Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Apply a mastery level of expertise in advanced analytical, mathematical, or statistical techniques related to statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analyses, computer modeling, simulation, decision theory, mathematical programming, regression analysis, and economic analysis. Serve as a senior warfighting analyst responsible for developing and executing analytical models and methods that support warfighting analyses from engagement through campaign levels. Develop campaign-level representations, databases, and analyses of US, allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operations. Advise other operations research analysts, scientists, or engineers on techniques best suited for tasked problems.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with warfighting analysis

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

-Experience with C++, VBA, R, Python, or SQL

-Knowledge of probability and stochastic processes

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or Management Science

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with one, or more, of the following analysis tools: AMP/MIDAS, JFAST, STORM, EADSIM, or ABAT

-Experience on a military headquarters staff (Service HQ, OSD, Joint Staff, COCOM) in the areas mentioned above

-Experience in one of more of the following: military operations planning, military campaign analysis, or wargaming

-Experience with advanced statistical analysis techniques and machine learning

-Experience with using Linux

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Management Science and 14+ years of experience with warfighting analysis, MA or MS degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field and 10+ years of experience with warfighting analysis, or PhD degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field and 5+ years of experience with warfighting analysis

Clearance:
