Cloud Platform Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Conduct systems analysis and programming activities for the development, maintenance, and installation of computer programs that support internal business operations. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles. Solve uniquely complex problems and speak to internal and external clients on behalf of the organization. Work on long-range programs and objectives. Provide advice to the organization in the area of expertise. Play a role in overall functional strategic planning.

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-3+ years of experience with one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting in Shell or PowerShell and Perl
-Experience with Cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud or Azure
-Knowledge of PaaS or CaaS solutions or technologies, including Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Mesosphere, Docker Data Center, or Kubernetes
-Knowledge of alerts and monitoring tools and system management tools for environments and configuration management and Cloud orchestration tools, including Ansible, Chef, Puppet, AWS, Cloudformation, Terraform, and Salt
-Knowledge of containers, including LXC and Docker and Amazon AWS services and APIs, including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud services
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems
-Experience with running Web services at scale
-Possession of excellent troubleshooting skills, including code, systems, and network
