Job Summary: The BAS Controls/Start-Up Technician is responsible for start-up, commissioning, and servicing of DDC building automation systems for commercial HVAC systems. Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues to ensure overall system functions properly. Responds to customer service calls Performs preventative maintenance and diagnostics on automation system and components according to service agreement contracts. Completes and submits written service orders and reports. Provides training, technical support, and direction to end-users Provide on-site support and guidance to installation crew or subcontractors Job Requirements: 2 years of BAS / DDC controls experience. 1 year of Webs Ax experience Working knowledge of Bacnet, Lon, and Modbus Experience with integrating equipment Proficient troubleshooting skills Proficient with PCs and networking Ability to explain technical information to nontechnical people Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision US citizen Ability to pass customer security requirements/background checks Additional Skills Desired:: Tridium Certifications Experience working with Honeywell or Johnson Controls Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Visio Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Thank you for taking the time to view our position at Emtech Inc.
