Responsibilities Requirements:Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting Must have least one auditing course completed.Having Information Technology/Information Systems courses completed is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, charts, data analytics, writing/creating macrosAbility to work independently Ability to multi-task and able to work in a fast pace environmentStrong attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsResponsibilities:The Internal Audit intern will assist the Internal Audit Senior Manager with the following:Performing assessment and reviews of internal control over financial reporting Performing audit testing procedures and preparing audit working papersIdentifying, developing and documenting audit observations and recommendations for improvementAnalyzing large volumes of data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, and AccessDrafting internal audit reports and key deliverables Performing related work as assigned by Internal Audit management Sunrise maintains a drug-free work environment and all offers of employment with Sunrise are conditioned on submitting to and successfully completing and passing a drug and alcohol test.QualificationsSunrise Senior Living has championed quality of life in senior care for more than 30 years.
