  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence (CI)-scope polygraph examination with no deception indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with Drug Free Federal Workplace Program; subject to random drug testing.
  • Shift work, irregular tours of duty, and/or extended duty will be required.
  • This is a Department of Defense (DoD) designated cyber workforce position. Cybersecurity Work Role Code: 332 (Cyberspace Operations Planner). This position is eligible for appointment into the Cyber Excepted Service.
  • In order to qualify for one of these positions, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
    • Experience applying a proficient level of skill in selection and application of targeting methodologies to the identification of targeting actions and the development of specific targeting solution recommendations in support of concept and operation plans, and operation orders.
    • Experience assessing the adequacy of existing plans to support the "real world" parameters of crisis and contingency operations.
    • Experience analyzing operational reports to integrate qualitative and quantitative information and present findings to senior leaders regarding the effectiveness of operations.
    • Experience in the selection, adaptation, and application of joint fires, precision fires, collateral damage estimation, and targeting database software and tools to facilitate target planning and target data basing requirements in accordance with joint publications and standards.
